Baking process is generally perceived as a more humanized way of pet food preparation, and hence baked kibble has become the premium alternative to high-pressure extruded kibble in some of the matured markets. About the speaker :
Meng Yeong holds a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Universiti Sains Malaysia, he often finds himself preoccupied with process knowhow in his 10-year career as a technical sales professional for process technologies. Meng Yeong joined Reading Bakery Systems in early 2019, a company specializes in providing turnkey solution for human snacks and pet food baking process, where he completed a 2-year baking course by Bakers Manufacturing Academy. He is now in charge of planning baked kibble trials for customers across Asia Pacific and he also carried out throughout market and process research into baked pet kibble, which was summarized into a technical paper for the company. His approach in sales emphasizes highly on technicality and feasibility of the project, to ensure all his customers could make informed decisions.
